What We Do
We rescue dogs and livestock from high-kill shelters, abusive homes, and other dangerous situations. We provide them with medical care, rehabilitation, and training. Those animals then stay with us for the rest of their days, or have the chance to find there forever home with a family who is ready to take in a new family member. We also work with our community to educate people about responsible pet ownership and the benefits of adopting rescue dogs. Safety in communities as well as providing resources for those who need it most is important to us. Our ultimate goal is to match each dog with a loving, forever home that is the perfect fit for their unique personality and needs.

At "Pyrs, Pits & Pastures", our mission is to provide a safe haven and second chance for animals in need, with a particular focus on Pit Bulls, Great Pyrenees, and various livestock breeds. Nestled in the heart of Texas, we are not just a rescue; we are a sanctuary that extends unwavering compassion to those who may not find a forever home elsewhere. We are dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and educating.
